Only One More Day Till...

...the launch and spectacular web splash of The Class of 2K13!

What is 2K13, you ask?

The Class of 2K13 is a group of debut YA and MG authors, 20 authors in all, with books that cross all sub-genres--contemporary, paranormal, dystopian, fantasy--and release during 2013. A little something for everyone.  And I joined this lovely group of authors and I hope you will check out all of the 2K13 books.  For most of us, the journey has been long but we're thrilled to finally share our stories.

Starting tomorrow, there will be cool giveaways and contests as the site is launched.  You can learn all about it on the web site.  Click here for the deets!

You can follow The Class of 2K13 on Twitter and Facebook too.

On the launch date, the authors will be discussing the inspiration behind each of their books, some in vlog format; others, blog format.  It'll all be up on the web site.  Yours truly will be discussing the inspiration behind Hooked in vlog format but the coolest thing is that the background music for the vlog was performed and written by a 16-year old high school student from Chicago, Illinois, who was inspired to write and record it after learning about Hooked.  How totally cool is that?? The song is so lovely and I'm so amazed at her talent.  Can't wait to share that song with you!

And, psssssst.  I'll be running another contest beginning November 1 where you can receive a download of the Hooked inspired song, among other goodies. Stay tuned.

Hope you'll love the song as much as I do. This young girl is going places. American Idol, eat your heart out:)

Let the positive energy and LOVE flow. We all need goodness in our lives.

Can't WAIT to hear the song. Since I am a Chicagoan, it gives me great pride to now some great youthful NEW talent. I love young people;their energy, bright eyes, and living in the moment gives me hope for a positive and happy future.
