Revision, Revision. Everywhere a Revision.

I haven't written a book yet that I haven't rewritten at least twice.  Usually three times.  Sometimes more.  I'm so there right now with my current novel.  It will be the companion book to Hooked which is (cue the *squee*) scheduled to publish in January 2013.  That's less than a year away.  *Faints*

*Picks self off the floor*

Whenever I hear Aretha Franklin's Respect, I replace respect with revision.  It sorta works.  Sorry, Aretha.  But, whatever gets you through your day, right?

Now crank it.

"r e s p e c t, find out what it means to my (novel)". Because we must respect our novels enough to revise them to their shiniest most awesome point! yes! ;)

What a great idea :) I'll have to turn on that song next time I need to work on revisions!

Congrats on the upcoming release, Liz!

Great, now I have that song in my head. It will, no doubt, play repeatedly in my brain until daybreak.

*tries singing*

R-E-V-I-S-I-O-N!

Grammar, spelling, punctuation!

/my attempt

Sorry. That wasn't pretty...

All of the above are within my grasp. And two of my books are about to be published. In two weeks, Wind Over Troubled Waters, co-written with Edith Parzefall, will be published by Double Dragon in ebook form followed by paperback. And shortly after in May, Solstice is publishing Still Rock Water by me alone. Yay. Blog on!

Ah yes, I do this, too. The countless revisions, I mean, not the singing (can't sing :S )

XD

Isn't it great when a song helps you like that. :-) Good luck with the revisions and that rocks about your book!
