If I Could Be Anyone, I Would Be Samantha Stephens

Today I'm participating in the "If I could be anyone, I'd be..." web book release party to help blogger buddy Talli Roland spread the word for her new book, Watching Willow Watts.

It's a fun read about a woman who inadvertently channels Marilyn Monroe and unwittingly becomes the star of a YouTube video set in a small English village that goes viral.   And isn't the cover lovely?

Okay, back to business.  If I could be anyone, I'd really like to be Samantha Stephens from Bewitched because how cool would it be to twitch your nose and fly wherever you wanted and turn nasty people into toads?! I'm so there.

Samantha would be pretty awesome with the magical powers. :D

Yep, making people disappear would have been a handy power to have in my younger days :-)

Talli's book looks great! Yes, Samantha would be a good person to be -- and she uses her witchly powers so nicely!

Good one, Liz! I loved watching Bewitched when I was a kid!

Samantha is pretty awesome=) Ever since I was a kid watching Bewitched on Nick at Nite, I've wanted to name a daughter after her. That hasn't happened, but maybe a character named Samantha would work=)

I'd love to fly and land in Italy right now. If only a twitch of the nose would do it.

I've hit Talli's launch party on a couple blogs but never thought of picking a fictional character. Samantha's a great choice.

FANTASTIC Choice Liz.... I LOVE her. I watch the reruns any chance I can.

I certainly wouldn't mind traveling the world with a twitch of my nose.

Fab choice. Samantha is brilliant! How cool would the twitchy nose thing be in real life? Ultra.

I used to love watching Bewitched, and I so wanted to be able to twitch my nose like Samantha. What a fun choice! :)

Samantha is fantastic too because that nose twitch is so subtle, no one would notice without knowing to look for it.

The only thing that would be annoying is the twitchy nose when slicing onions. :P

What a great answer! Who wouldn't wanna be Samantha? She rocks! She made me forever love the name Samantha.... since my fist child wasn't a girl, we went with Samuel.

Yes, yes, and yes . . . although her husband was kind of a jerk. Not sure I'd want to be married to him.

Right on! Samantha is an excellent choice. :-)

oh, man. HOW many times have I wished I could twitch my nose and make something happen... clean the house, shave my legs, finish those revisions... :D LOL! Good stuff, Liz~

Oh my yes, flying. I'd love to fly.

Love your choice! My nose was twitching this morning, but only with incoming sneezes. Not quite as awesome as Samantha's nose...hehe

When I was a kid I always wanted to be Bewitched. I decided it didn't do her any good though if she wasn't going to use it to get out of housework.
