My Week In Two-Word Sentences

Book published. Blogged everywhere. Met readers. Drank coffee.  Flew home. Hello, Chicago! Fought storms. Visited family. Ate scones. Wrote little. Shopped lots. Exhausted, yes! More, please.

I love your haiku-esque way of expressing a wonderfully busy week, Liz. :) Don't forget the blogging door's always open on Bird's-eye View for a review/interview and/or giveaway.

P.S. I’ve left a response to your comment on Bird’s-eye View at http://michellefayard.blogspot.com/2011/07/getting-blog-comments-to-work-for-you.html.

LIZ you are in CHICAGO! I would have loved to meet you for a scone and coffee. Are you here through the weekend?

Let me know. It's a gorgeous day and I will be out and about soon..... I hope to see you around!

Congrats on the publication, Liz. You've had a busy week!

These two word sentences reminds me of memoir writer Abigail Thomas (A Three Dog Life) who once gave this as a exercise to her creative writing students to get them to focus on memories, only she used three word sentences rather than two. I think this is MOST effective.

Sounds like you might be in need of more caffeine... or more chocolate. Yes, that's it! You forgot chocolate! no wonder you're exhausted. Woman cannot live on scone alone! haha! Have fun!

Sounds like you had a good week. You come to Chicago a lot. Wanna trade places? I could so use to leave this city behind.

How was the storm damage where you were at? I live in the south suburbs area so the damage isn't too bad but I work closer to the north and there were lots of broken trees, cars and homes damaged by hail, and power loss. Hope none of that affected your family or you.

Liz, was that your week? Some books I've read didn't have as much action as that! ;)
Much success with the release.
