My First Vlog! And Why I Am CRAVING the PERFECT Day

Sorry about the pun! Couldn't help myself.  But welcome to my first-ever shiny Vlog and the book birthday for CRAVING PERFECT.  Oh, jeez, it's been a long time coming.  I wrote this book five years ago and I'm thrilled that it's finally seeing the light of day.  Thanks to those of you who've been so supportive and kind to me along the way.  I really and truly appreciate it.  Karma, it will find you.

And now without further ado, I present to you my first Vlog.  Hollywood, here I come! (Or, maybe I'll just stick to writing.)

On my schedule today:

* PK Hrezo is interviewing me on her cool blog

* Tonight, I'll be interviewed (11 pm EST) on Linda Mooney's Blog Talk Radio channel, where I'll be reading and discussing an excerpt from Craving Perfect.  I've promised to keep my Midwestern twang to a minimum.  Click here for the deets.

Hope to see you there!

Midwestern twang? I know not of what you speak---it's everyone ELSE that has accents, silly. ;)

The vlog was awesome! So nice to get to see you in action and I enjoyed the color commentary along the bottom. :)

CONGRATULATIONS on the release of your second novel!

I think your first vlog is great. I haven't done one because I hate having my picture taken let alone be on film. You did a great job. Congrats. I've already been to PK's she is great.

Oh, thank you SO MUCH for all the kind comments. I was really nervous to do this vlog (I'm an introvert at heart). I may not look nervous on the vid but, believe me, my heart was pounding like a heart attack.

@Molly: I do love my lava lamp too. It's like a pet.

@Cherie: See the part above about my pounding heart. ;-)

@Susan: Thanks so much for your support!

@Julie: It's been a weird journey with this book. And it all started on a treadmill. For realz.

@Karen: Thank you so much for being so supportive. Means so much to me.

@Talli: Thank you!! I am grateful that you were one of the first readers.

@Nicki: I like that way of thinking, although I'm constantly reminded of my accent out here. Can't tell you how often I get, "You must be from Chicago..."

@Jennifer: Thank you! I'm tempted to send the link to one of my college professors who would disagree vehemently with you. ;-)

@Monica: Seriously?! That is super freaky. Maybe it's time to buy lotto tickets??

@Monica: So lovely connecting with you today and the 292 thing is freaky. Maybe it's time to buy lotto tickets??

@Regina: Thank you! So nice meeting you today. Believe me, I can totally relate to the pics/video thing.

@Gabriella: Thank you so much for your support!! I am thrilled that you enjoyed the story.

@Nas: Thank you, Nas! You've been so supportive of me and I really appreciate it.

Hi, Liz. I apologize that I haven't commented until now, but I actually watched your wonderful vlog very early this morning. Well done! If I never do another vlog, it'll be your fault. ;) Lol!
I can't believe how perfect it was! Great sound, interesting and very witty.
I love the lava lamp, too. I've got to get me one of those.
Have a great week.
