It's 5 o'clock Somewhere

Haven't had a virtual cocktail party in a while.  Today I'm gonna fix that because it's been that kind of week.

So come on in, make yourself comfortable, and help yourself to a drink and some apps.  I've got lots of those yummy cheeses and creamy dips and, of course, unlimited chocolate.  If things get crazy, I may break out the karaoke machine!  Anyone want to line-dance?

While you're making yourself comfortable, pardon me while I step out briefly to Taryn Kincaid's lovely blog to answer a few interview questions.  Check out her blog, if you haven't already.  Click here.

Meanwhile, tell me about your week.  What great books have you read? What's on your agenda for the weekend?  And, really, who's not planning to watch the Bears and the Green Bay Packers this weekend?!

Thanks for the tasty snacks. Don't mind if I do have a few.

It's once again snowing here

Taryn, you must get plane tickets to Arizona. Stat! You srsly don't want to know how nice it is here today. I won't rub it in with pictures.

Lovely post...I'll have a Martini and a cheesy snack, thank you! I can warble a half decent 'Cry Me a River' on the karaoke when I have a voice, which is lost in bronchitis at present. I've had to break out The Chronicles of Narnia as a cheer up.

Have a great weekend.

I would so love some tasty wine and a fire right now. 5 inches of snow last night into this morning. The smallest storm so far this season. Being a Giants fan I can't root for the Jets so, Go Steelers! As for Bears/Packers? Haven't decided yet. Just got last of the wedding series from Nora Roberts from the library to read in between games. Thanks for hosting the party!

Feeling a bit under the weather and just want a nap and looking forward to getting off work! I'd have some wine but I think I'll pass on the football. It's nice here today but supposed to be cooler this weekend. Thank God we have avoided a lot of the snow this year!

Bring out the Karaoke--Put on a little Hot Child in the City! I just finished doing a book trailer, by the way. Do you know how long it's been since a virtual margarita crossed my lips? Yum! Tasty (she wipes the salt off her lips with her tongue), Hmmm, maybe that's a good way for the hero and heroine to meet in my next mystery... Liz, I love the decorations. This is a part-ee house! Wheee! Wow, that Tequila packs a punch.

This week, hic, I did a couple of trailers, got two new covers and contracted a mystery novella series and the sequel to my Climax series. Hot Child in the City!
