The ink is still drying but I can finally share some wonderful news with you about VANISHED! It sold to the very cool Angela James at the very hip and innovative Carina Press. It was so wonderful to find editors who connected with VANISHED and loved Native American characters and culture as much as I do. And, I'll be honest, it was majorly cool to hear an editor use the words love, publish, and buy in the same sentence when they were referring to my manuscript!
Here's the blurb from Publishers Marketplace:
Liz Fichera's VANISHED, a suspense-filled historical set in the American Southwest where a young Hohokam Indian woman stops at nothing to return to her village after she’s snatched by Spanish invaders in 1499, turning her escape into the adventure of a lifetime, to Angela James at Carina Press.
I'm so thrilled to be associated with Carina Press and look forward to meeting more Carina Press authors and editors. And as soon as I can share the cover art for VANISHED, I will!
