Saturday night, I had the opportunity to see the Arizona Theatre Company production of AIN'T MISBEHAVING at the Herberger Theatre. You can read my review of the musical at

In a nutshell, if you live in Phoenix, this is a musical you won't want to miss. And if you're not singing along and tapping your foot from the very first Fats Waller number, you should probably get your blood pressure checked. The music (and cast) is that good.

The icing on the cake is seeing it at the Herberger Theatre. It's one of the prettiest venues in downtown Phoenix. Not a bad seat in the entire theatre. If you want to make a night of it, head over to the Arizona Center across the street from the theatre. Craig and I went to Sam's Cafe and enjoyed a lovely dinner outside facing the courtyard fountains before the 8 pm show. Where else can you enjoy dinner and a glass of wine outside in January but in Arizona?

An absolute blast! Don't miss this musical. It's only in Phoenix till January 17.

It's posts like these that make me wish I lived in Arizona. BTW, just got six inches of snow today. Yuck.
